We will review requests on a case-by-case basis. If we need more information from you, we will send you a letter.
If we grant your request and you meet the requirements for a passport, we will issue your passport. If we do not grant your request, we will mail you a letter and explain what you need to provide to apply for your passport.
Customers may submit requests as part of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. This law prevents us from “substantially burdening” a person's religious exercise.
