If you wish to stay in Andorra longer than 3 months, or to apply for residency, you must provide a criminal record check to Andorran authorities.

Traveling with children

Always bring a copy of each child’s birth certificate or other evidence of your legal relationship to each child.

  • Parents and guardians should prepare a notarized, written permission letter. It should allow their minor children to travel to or from Andorra alone or with someone else.
  • To prevent international child abduction, many governments have initiated additional procedures at entry and exit points. These often include requiring documentary evidence of relationships and permission for the child's travel from the parent(s) or legal guardian not present.
  • Review Unaccompanied minors travel information from Andorran authorities Travel to Andorra - Govern d’Andorra.
  • If you have concerns that your child may be abducted abroad by their other parent or guardian, review our information on how to prevent an international parental child abduction. You can also review our information on Parental Child Abduction in Andorra.

  • To bring medication into Andorra you need to have a prescription or medical report justifying your need.
  • Carry the medication in its original packaging, labeled with your name and the prescription
