For details, see the Presidential Executive Order issued January 20, 2021. The Dallas Passport Agency continues to require appointments for in-person service. Your appointment must be within 72 hours (3 business days) of your international travel date. To make an appointment, follow the steps detailed on this webpage.

Know Before You Go: Travel Advisories for Out-of-State Customers

  • In response to increased rates of COVID-19 transmission, many states have travel advisories for anyone traveling from states that have a significant degree of community-wide spread of COVID-19.
  • The advisories may require out-of-state travelers to self-quarantine for up to 14 days. Other states may require a negative test for COVID-19 before out-of-state travelers can enter. Exceptions may apply for transiting through the state by car, train, bus, or airplane.
  • Customers who want to schedule an appointment at an agency or center that is located out of state should check for travel advisories in the state where the passport agency or center is located.
