Adoption Notice: Kyrgyzstan Re-Authorizes U.S. Adoption Service Providers (ASPs)

On November 16, 2017, the Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD), Kyrgyzstan’s adoption authority, officially notified the Department of State that it has renewed the authorization of the following U.S. accredited adoption service providers (ASPs) to operate in Kyrgyzstan:

  • Across the World Adoptions
  • America World Adoption Association
  • Children House International
  • Lifeline Children’s Services
  • Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan
  • Nightlight Christian Adoptions
  • Premier Adoptions
  • World Links Association

Prospective adoptive parents wishing to adopt from Kyrgyzstan must work with one of the authorized ASPs listed above.  

The MLSD will publish the list of accredited ASPs on their web site http://mlsp.gov.kg within two weeks. These adoption service providers are authorized to immediately resume processing applications on behalf of prospective adoptive parents and will provide procedural information for adoption in Kyrgyzstan to prospective adoptive parents.
