The U.S. Embassy in Sana’a suspended operations on February 11, 2015 and therefore cannot provide protection or consular services to U.S. citizens in Yemen. The Yemen Affairs Unit operates out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia until the time when we can re-open our facilities inside Yemeni territory.
