San Juan Passport Agency

COVID-19 Update: Phase One of Reopening

As of Wednesday, July 1, this passport agency is entering phase one of our three-phase reopening plan. During phase one, we will continue to prioritize customers who need a passport in the next 72 hours (3 business days) for a life-or-death emergency only. You must make an appointment. Customers must wear cloth face coverings in all common areas, including our lobbies, and observe strict social distancing.

A limited number of our employees will return to work allowing us to resume processing a limited number of applications we already received. We recommend customers wait to submit new or renewal applications as delays will continue in phase one.

Learn more about our current operations and plans to reopen in phases on our COVID-19 Update page or our Frequently Asked Questions page.

We have an online form filler so you can fill out your form and print it before you arrive for your appointment. You can also print a PDF of your form and complete your form by hand in blue or black ink before you arrive. Both these options reduce the amount of time you spend in our lobby on the day of your appointment. While we have forms available in our lobby, we ask that you bring your own blue or black ink pen to protect the health of other customers and our employees.
