On January 24, 2020, the Intercountry Adoption Accreditation and Maintenance Entity (IAAME) suspended the intercountry adoption accreditation of Small World, Inc. for failing to maintain substantial compliance with accreditation standards. 

During this suspension, Small World, Inc. must cease to provide all adoption services in connection with intercountry adoption cases. Small World, Inc. is not required to transfer their cases to another accredited or approved adoption service provider. IAAME reserves the right to require case transfers at any time during the suspension.
