Intercountry Adoption News and Notices > Minor Revisions to Accrediting Entity Fee Schedule
In accordance with the Intercountry Adoption Act of 2000 and in preparation for implementing new regulations that go into effect on January 8, 2025, the Department has approved minor revisions to the fee schedules for Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS) and the Intercountry Adoption Accreditation and Maintenance Entity, Inc. (IAAME).
No changes have been made to the amount of any fees.
CEAS’ revisions are limited removal of information related to accounting and invoicing procedures, which are not required elements for the fee schedule. This revision will give CEAS greater flexibility for adjusting internal procedures as needed.
IAAME’s revised fee schedule removes a $5 fee for replacement copies of accreditation certificates. This line item is obsolete because certificates are now sent electronically.
These revised fee schedules are effective immediately. For more information about accrediting entity fee schedules, please see the Accrediting Entity Fees webpage.
