Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS) Assumes Accrediting Entity Role
Please note: Effective September 30, 2025 Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS) fully assumed accrediting entity responsibilities for all accredited agencies in the United States. IAAME links may no longer work. For more information, visit this notice.
On December 1, 2022, Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS) fully assumed the accrediting entity (AE) role designated June 2 and is now responsible for accrediting, approving, monitoring, and overseeing adoption service providers within its assigned jurisdiction.
The Department of State congratulates and welcomes CEAS into this critical role, which it shares with Intercountry Adoption Accreditation and Maintenance Entity, Inc. (IAAME). For more information about the accreditation process or each AE’s jurisdiction, please visit adoption.state.gov.
