Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS) Assumes Accrediting Entity Role

On December 1, 2022, Center for Excellence in Adoption Services (CEAS) fully assumed the accrediting entity (AE) role designated June 2 and is now responsible for accrediting, approving, monitoring, and overseeing adoption service providers within its assigned jurisdiction.  

The Department of State congratulates and welcomes CEAS into this critical role, which it shares with Intercountry Adoption Accreditation and Maintenance Entity, Inc. (IAAME).  For more information about the accreditation process or each AE’s jurisdiction, please visit adoption.state.gov.
