Last Updated: February 15, 2022

The Central Authority for Armenia has informed the Office of Children’s Issues that a new fee will be charged to all foreign PAPs  adopting children in Armenia. This new fee applies to all adoptions starting after August 2, 2021. According to the Armenian Central Authority, decision № 1188-N dated July 22, 2021, created a state duty of 1,000,000 Dram (approximately 2100 USD), and entered into force on August 2, 2021. This fee applies to all of the applications from foreign citizens received after August 2, 2021, and not to applications filed by that date.
