The National Awards for Passport Acceptance Facilities and Agents recognizes facilities and agents who have offered superior customer service and implemented innovations to enhance the customer experience.
The U.S. Department of State Consular Affairs coordinates with 8,000 acceptance facilities throughout the nation that help U.S. citizens apply for their passport. Passport Customer Service Managers nominate candidates, and then the Acceptance Facility Awards Committee selects the recipients. The Department of State will recognize the recipients during an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.
